Let’s talk about that “just in case pee”.

Writer's picture: Melissa SundbergMelissa Sundberg

Do you:

✓ Find yourself peeing before you leave the house even if you don't have to go?

✓ Go right before you exercise? AND often again during your run/workout??

✓ Pee 2-5 x before going to bed to try to empty your bladder so you don't get up in the middle of the night......BUT you are still getting up in the middle of the night.

✓ Feel like you don’t empty your bladder completely?

✓Know where every bathroom is in town or go as soon as you find one?

This could be a sign that your bladder is running your life and your "just in case" pees are keeping you stuck!

Thankfully, the bladder is one of the most trainable muscles in the body!

Try to avoid "just in case" pees and allow your bladder to fill and give you the RIGHT signal versus always giving you the "if I don't go now, I'm going to wet my pants" signal.

Ideally we are able to go ~ 2 hours in between each void, even if we are hydrated.

Over the next week, try reducing or eliminating your "just in case" pees to help your reduce your leaks, urgency and frequency. I promise! 🤞
